Our program featured the popular Students of the Month Awards.
Chair Mark Haldaman presented certificates, nameplate plaques, and
$200 checks to four local High School seniors:
September: Alexander Lindquist, Easton High - Alexander is
interested in pursuing a career in electrical or aero nautical engineering.
He enjoys science and math and spends some of his free time studying
gear ratios. He volunteers at the American Legion and is active in four
sports. His future plans include world travel.
October: Nicholas Murgia, Wilson High - Nicholas enjoys math and
science and is considering a career in mechanical engineering. He is a
member of the School Concert Band and is co-Captain of two sports. He
is active in four School Clubs and volunteers as a Sunday School
Teacher. He is a National Honor Society Committee Chair and a four[1]
year veteran of the Debate Club.
November: Trinity Queitzch, CIT - Trinity is in the Marketing and
Retail discipline at CIT. She is active in the operation of the School
Store. She participates in DECA and the National honor Society. She is
interested in event planning and will pursue a degree in Business
Administration from Northampton Community College.
December: Julia Cameron, Notre Dame High - Julia has been the
Captain of the Field Hockey and Softball teams. She has volunteered for
KEY Club fundraisers supporting causes such as Alzheimer’s and
Melanoma research. She is active with Future Business Leaders of
America and the Greenhouse Club. She plans to attend a 4-year
University and pursue a degree in Kinesiology.
