President Gordon presented a $2,500 check t o Jim Palmeri representing the Three Church Hill Arts and Historical Society. The money will be used to sponsor the “La TEA Da” series of afternoon talks on feisty women followed by afternoon tea “Bell Style”. The talks will feature the women, the work they’ve done, the contributions they made, and the lives they lived. Their careers will be discussed and also the people who served as their inspiration. The 1st of the monthly talks is scheduled for September 6 and is titled “The Life and Times of Louisa May Alcott: No Little Woman There!”
