Pack the Purse

May 6, 2021. Our evening social at the Pomfret Club featured the final phase of the Pack the Purse project. The level of support was amazing. Volunteers filled a mountain of purses with items including wallets, lipstick, makeup, deodorant, hand and body lotion, snacks, masks, hand sanitizer, and more. The beautiful bags were filled to capacity. Many thanks to Lori Metz and her daughters Marissa and Micha for spearheading this project. Thanks to Micha for providing the special cards that went with each gift. Thanks also to the employees at Bath & Body Works who combined for a generous donation. The Third Street Alliance for Women & Children and Family Connection of Easton. will distribute the purses in observance of Mother’s Day. Thanks to all who contributed to this fantastic project!
