April 11, 2019. Shelly Gottlieb presented the 2019 Ritchey J. Ricci Teacher of the Year Award to Richard Shevalier, a Science Teacher at Notre Dame High School. Richard had a full career as a teacher before retiring and then un-retiring to take a position at Notre Dame. The School has a dearth of lab rooms and he plans to use the $1,000 cash award to supply the biology classroom with a rolling lab station. He will return sometime next year to present a program on his use of the grant.
